Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze Whole Lot of Lovely Thank You Card

There’s just something about Cajun Craze and Basic Black that makes one think of Fall.  I love this design and the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP set off this Thank You Card.  Pretty quick and easy, I do admit lots of cutting but easy to assemble.  The sentiment is triple layered using the Scalloped Squares Framelits. Just in time for this card is the lovely Black Dimesionals featured on the Sentiment that is from One Big Meaning Stamp Set.  The Sentiment was raised a bit by using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card front.

The inside was finished by stamping the flowers  in Cajun Craze and Wild Wasabi from the Lots of Love Stamp Set.

Here are the supplies I used in this card:

Card Stock: Cajun Craze, Basic Black, Whisper White

Stamp Sets: Lots of  Love, One Big Meaning

Dies: Layered Scalloped Square Framelits

Ink:  Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Cajun Craze

Stampin’ Up! Coffee Cafe Gift Card Holder

What could be more appropriate than a ‘gift card gift holder’. Unless it’s a coffee gift card and the holder is also coffee related.  I needed a card for a Starbucks Coffee Gift Card.  Cafe Coffee fit the bill!  Using the Coffee Cafe Bundle (stamps and dies that match) I created this Z fold card with the ‘slot’ for the gift card inside.

Using Timeless Treasures Stamp Set in Early Espresso I stamped the coffee cup circles randomly on Old Olive Color Theory Designer Series Paper.  Also using the coffee bean stamp from the Coffee Cafe Stamp set I also stamped it randomly in Early Espresso.  The stamped pieces where then adhered to Thick Whisper White Card Stock.  I created the front using Early Espresso Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and die cutting using the larger coffee cup die.  The lid was created using Early Espresso Card Stock and die cut.

I adhered the finished coffee cup to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Coffee Break Designer Series Paper was used for the background of the coffee cup.

Actually a pretty quick card to make but looks much more difficult than it is.  Here are the products I used in making this Gift Card Holder:

Card Stock:  Early Espresso, Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Old Olive

InK: Early Espresso

Papers: Coffee Break DSP,  Color Theory Specialty DSP Stack

Stamp Sets:  Coffee Cafe, Timeless Treasures

Die Cuts: Coffee Cups Framelits Dies

Embellishments: Glitter Enamel Dots

Bright Foil Frenzy Lemon Lime Twist Birthday Shaker Card

Ah, what do you make for a 13 year old boy that doesn’t play sports?  He does play the cello but I couldn’t come up with a card for that.  So…I decided an eclectic card would do.  Here is what I came up with.  Using Foil Frenzy in Lemon Lime Twist I paired it with Gold Numbers,  and Lemon Lime Card Stock.  I think it turned out pretty  nifty.  At first when I created it I wanted to the leave the front plain, but after some thought I added from stars from two different die sets that were coordinating.  Gold Foil kind of sets it off.

Since I wanted to use die cut gold foil numbers I had to contrive a different way of creating my shaker card.  Using two window sheets I made a ‘shaker pocket’ adhered to the back of the  patterned foil card front.  The pocket was created by first adhering a piece of window sheet to the back of the die cut round opening.  I used Fast Fuse.  Next using Foam Adhesive Strips I outlined the window placing the Foam directly on the window sheet.  Next I cut another piece of window sheet about the same size and then carefully place some sequins on the open area.  Placing the second sheet of window sheet on top of the foam adhesive strips sealed it carefully.  The front was then adhered to the Card Front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the die cut piece from the front of the card I adhered it to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock  The Happy Birthday Thinlit was die cut in Lemon Lime Card Stock and adhered on top of the die cut.  The materials I used in this card can be found listed below.

Stampin’ Up! Foil Frenzy Stunning Birthday Card

Don’t you love the versatility of the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper?  Gorgeous!!! Especially pairing two new colors: Berry Burst and Powder Pink.

I  loosely cased this card and now can’t find the original to credit the author.  I think it is a brilliant design. The ribbon is new this year, so pretty in Berry Burst, it’s the 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding.  It makes the prettiest bow.  The gold foil sentiment just sets the whole front of the card off don’t you think?

Inside was finished by using the punched out Foil Frenzy scalloped circle and Powder Pink.  Before adhering all layers together on the inside I first stamped the sentiment and sponged lightly with Berry Burst Ink on the edges of the powder Pink.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! Products that I used in this card:

Card Stock:  Foil Frenzy (Berry Burst)  Whisper White, Powder Pink, Gold Foil

Dies: Scalloped Circle Framelits, Happy Birthday Thinlets

Stamps: Baskets of Wishes

Inks: Berry Burst

Ribbon: 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding (Berry Burst)

Stampin’ Up! Fresh Fig Wine is Devine! All occasion card.

Here in North Georgia the temperature was an early fall 59 degrees this morning.  Cool, dry air and just hints of cooler weather to come.  What better way to celebrate fall that a delicious glass of red wine.

New Stampin’ Up! In Colors includes two colors that I was not too fond of, at first.  Now it is down to one.  Fresh Fig was one of those colors that just didn’t ring my bell.   Couldn’t think of a project or card I wanted to use it with…until I saw this versatile ‘Wine is Devine’ Stamp Set.  Suddenly realized that Fresh Fig is actually Red Wine color!  So I started playing and this is what I created.  The colors I used were Fresh Fig, Pear Pizazz and Whisper White.  The fluer de les at the top were stamped off twice before stamping on the card front.  The ‘sister’ stamp set that is perfect with   ‘Wine is Devine’ Stamp Set is the Stampin’ Up! Tuscan Vineyards Stamp Set-the fluer de les, the grapes and the award stamps.

The seal on the bottle of wine was first stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then the top was gently laid on the VersaMark  Pad and heat embossed with Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder.  The bottle and glass wine was colored in using the Stampin’ Write Marker in Fresh Fig.  The label on the bottle was stamped on Blushing Bride Cardstock and fussy cut, applied with Multipurpose Glue.  The glass and bottle were fussy cut.

The corks on the inside are from the Tuscan Vineyards Stamp Set.  All Stampin’ Up! products and are listed below used in this card.

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Painted Harvest Thank You Card

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Cardstock with Garden Green and Painted Harvest Bundle are awesome together!  Bright, cheerful and summery.    This card was so much fun making, I had to use the Lemon Lime, I know some of you don’t care much for it but it was love at first sight for me!  This card kind of fell together, using Stampin’ Up! Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper as a jumping off point for my card, made it easy!

The DSP has only five colors in it and I grabbed those and got my card together.  Lemon Lime, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla.  The sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze, the centers of the flower were stamped in Early Espresso. The sentiment was assembled and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.   See below for a list of the materials I used in this project.
