Gift Cards: Sale-A-Bration: Wild Flower Fields

As soon as I saw this gift set on Kathryn’s Stampin’ World I knew that it had to be my very next project. The stamps used are all from either Sale-A-Bration Catalog -FREE- or from the Occassion’s Catalog. These five cards were created using the coordinating colors for Wild Flower Fields. All stamped and punched images are adhered with glue dots.

I used Kathryn’s measurements for these cards but after making them realized that they are too big for the 3 X 3 envelopes so I will have to make my own envelopes.  The accent piece across the bottom its 1 1/2″  and the DSP across the bottom is 1 1/4″.  Next time I will make that lower part a bit narrower and on the bear card, stamp him and punch him out for dimension.

Calendars for 2016 project

Today I am featuring some of 2016 in calendars I did prior to deciding to sign up as a demonstrator. All the months use Stampin’ Up! products, however, a lot of the stamps used and some of the paper used is now retired. These were cased from Linda White as featured on Mary Fish’s blog Stampin pretty. The base calendars can be purchased on Ebay from ‘painter410″. These are 5 1/2″ X 4 3/4″  size. CD Cases can be purchased on Amazon.   Quick shipping!  These are so pretty and so much fun to make.  I plan to put together some kits with current products from Stampin’ Up.  Will feature those new creations soon.    If your interested, let me know.   They would be complete and ready for you to put together.

The pictures are a bit lopsided, I am learning how to take close up’s, and I took these with the months in the CD case.

Blogging and getting ready to stamp

Today no stamping has occurred. I spent time cleaning, rearranging, making a box for my sixteen year old granddaughter/artist and making a BIG box of stuff I don’t know what to do with.

In my studio closet are three large rubbermaid containers full of wood stamp sets that are retired. An eight year collection. Now what to do with them? I will take any suggestions, Ebay use to be where I would sell but with postage so high I just don’t know. I am thinking of maybe selling a large box that ships for one price regardless of weight.

This weekend I will be working and will get back to finishing my blog next week. I just want to **STAMP** but first things first.

Everyone enjoy this beautiful weekend that we are supposed to have, until the rain comes in and the temperatures begin to drop.

’til  Monday…..

Blogging, I think is going to be fun, soon. It’s already challenging!

Over this past week I have been busily working on Birthday cards, children and grandchildren seem to prefer being born the end of February and the first of March. Last count there were 7 birthdays within a two week period. Not being sure if they will read my blog I am only going to post one birthday card today. It is intended for my granddaughter who turned eight two days ago. I love the colors and I am very pleased with the eye appeal.

Directions to this project will be posted in tomorrow’s blog.  The rest of my day is going to be spent in renovating my stamping space and reorganizing all my ‘stamping toy’s.

A new stamping blog takes shape.

Welcome to “Beth’s Fancy Stamping” blog, my new adventure.  How this blog came about:  I am an RN supervisor  in a long term care facility.    Spending a lot of time with elderly residents has made me aware of just how serious and devastating dementia can be.  One of the ways to help prevent dementia is to learn something new, hence this blog.  It is all new to me and I am excited about working with it.  It is quite a learning curve and I would encourage anyone to try it.  This blog is still under construction, please check back often.

I am an Independant Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and love, love, love to make cards and paper projects.  Hopefully this blog will be filled with new card ideas as well as paper projects such as treat holders, gift card holders, card sets, etc.  I also love unusual folds and will be presenting some of those as well.  I will be opening a shop on Etsy soon to sell my cards and projects.  If you presently do not have a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, please order from me.  I will be happy to send you a current catalogue, I will be charging $5.00 to cover mailing, when you receive your catalog there will be a certificate good for $5.oo on your first order from me.

Please sign up to follow me in this exciting new adventure.  Look for a new blog three times a week,  Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
