Stampin’Up!© Bakers Box and Honeycomb Happiness for the Color Challenge from Pals Paper Arts.

This is a first! I have never entered a challenge before and when I saw the colors for this challenge from Pals Paper Arts (PPA293)  I discovered that it was going to be real challenge for me. I decided to do a cute little Bakers Box Thinnest and used Stampin’ Up! DSP (Birthday Bouqet). This was a color challenge, using Stampin’ Up! colors Mint Macaroon, Blushing Bride and So Saffron. The ribbon I had was too wide so I hand dyed Stampin’ Up! 1/2″ seam binding using Blushing Bride reinker. Hope you like this sweet little chick.  Now to figure out how to add it to the challenge.  I continue to learn new things daily about blogging.  DSC_0027_edited-1

Years ago, 1981 in fact is the year I bought my first computer.  An Apple IIe ($3,000.00).  That was a period that there was very little software available so, I would write my own programs for whatever I wanted to do.  I was teaching high school then and would write a program for test scores and grading.  It took me almost as long to do it on the computer as it did online.  I also began to develop publishing skills by writing newsletters two to professional organizations I belonged to and to design and produce brochures and business prospectus for my husbands business.   I have been in love with computers and computing ever since.  I entered the WWW in 1995 during Graduate School.  Many of our assignments were running businesses on line.   At the present time I happen to have two laptops, a MacBook Pro,  two iPads and a Kindle.  I just recently retired my desktop computer, it had gotten slower than “molasses in January”!  Gives me more room to play with my stamps.  And I must state here, I am so very delighted with my new MacBook Pro.  Don’t know how I did without it all these years.
