Lost Lagoon, Wildflower Fields , Hello Honey, Calypso Coral

Here’s the first card in the Card Box.  Using the stamp set “Grateful Bunch (Occasions Catalog)  I first stamped the set of three flowers in Jet Black Stazon Ink, then hand watercolored the flowers using the Aquapainter and Black Berry Bliss, Calypso Coral and Hello Honey.  Then I stamped the stem/leaves  (two times) using Old Olive and watercolored the leaves with Old Olive. Using the smallest flower cutout I daubed Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss flowers  on the background.  Flowers were adhered with glue dots and the larger flowers I used dimensional to give them a little dimension.  Using the Oval thinlet dies I choose three dies in graduating sizes.  Cut Lost Lagoon in the the largest size and skipping one size I then cut the the frame.  ,  Using Whisper White I cut the background using the middle size oval.  Glueing them together with a thin line of liquid glue.  The back ground banner was cut from DSP Wildflower Fields (SAB now retired).  Layering DSP Wildflower Fields and Whisper White, I notched the ends, stamped and embossed Happy Day from the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set (SAB  -retired),using Lost Lagoon Ink ad clear embossing powder.  The inside is stamped again in Old Olive and the Flowers were stamped in Black Berry Bliss, Lost Lagoon and punched out.  Adhered with glue dots.  Sweet Huh?

  1. Hey Beth – love this card. One of my fave stamp sets! So glad it’s sticking around (oops!).

But – your blog post link isn’t working – tried to comment and tried to go direct to the post. Nada! 🙂
