June 2, that means the new 201 6-2017 Stampin’ Up! Catalog has been out for one day!!! I think one of the most versatile and energetic DSP is this new Playful Palette DSP Stack. The colorful paper has a wonderful feel and it is so much fun to pair it with all the new color coordinate accessories that are available. The DSP used on this card is just one sheet, front and back! Lovely don’t you think?
Layering the card stock on Basic Black and adhering to the Very Vanilla front layer makes the colors just pop! This card in person is so exciting and has a special feel about it. FREE is good right? With an order of $150 or more you are eligible to select Host Stamp Set. For each $50 you may select another stamp set! These very cute stamp sets are only available as Host stamp sets, and there are some really cute set available in this catalog.
The sentiment was stamped in black ink and heat embossed using Stampin’ Up! Black embossing power. Then the sentiment was die cut using a die from the Tags and Labels Thinlet Set. Using the next size up I die cut the black for the layer look. This Ruched ribbon is brand new and I love how it ties, how it holds a bow and how very stylish it looks, this one is Emerald Envy. It also comes in all the new colors!
Now check out the inside:
Are you intimidated by the new Washi Tape? I am challenging myself to use it more freely on my cards. This tape is from the Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape. I layered a piece of Basic Black on the Very Vanilla back page of the card. I then chose two coordinating colors of Washi Tape to adhere on corner and tucked ends on back of card. Then adhered the Very Vanilla layer to the Basic Black Layer for a fairly quick and easy card. Love the look!
