Stampin’ Up! Fairy Celebration perfect in Sweet Sugarplum birthday card.

When I first saw this sweet stamp set from Stampin’ Up! “Fairy Celebration” I knew I had to have it.  This card and I wanted to play with SU new colors for 2016-2018.  Playing with the new Shimmery White Card Stock and Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach Ink refill.  Using an acrylic block I dropped several drops of each color on the block, then using a Stampin’ Up! Spritzer filled with water I spritzed the inks.  Blowing the inks around a bit in different places, I then placed the Card Stock face down on the block and quickly lifted it straight up.  It took about 15 minutes for it to totally dry.

Then I fussy cut the image to suit me.  I also stamped the sentiment from the Balloon Celebration stamp set using Tuxedo Black Ink on the ‘inkblot’ scrap.   That I also fussy cut kind of like a banner.  I layered that sentiment on a scrap of  Sweet Sugarplum and cut with an 1/8″ border.

Cutting piece of Blooms and Bliss DSP to layer on the Sweet Sugarplum Card Base.
