Wondrous Wreath in Fall Colors

Wondrous Wreath and it’s matching Framelit- Wonderful Wreath  are one of my very favorite Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets and Framelits.  I wanted a Fall look, so…I pulled out fall colors of Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze.

This wreath is a three step stamp making it easy to use several colors in one image.  I did use the Stampin’ Markers for the base layer, all those little Pumpkin Pie/Delightful Dijon on alternating leaves.  I then stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock.  The next layer I used Old Olive Ink and the final layer I used Cajun Craze hoping that it looked like a wreath with Bittersweet berries on the top.  I know, Pumpkin Pie was a lot closer to the color of Bittersweet but…hey I’m the artist and I wanted to used Cajun Craze.  I then die cut the wreath using Wonderful Wreath Framelits.

The base card is Cajun Craze Card Stock, layered with Old Olive and the top layer is Delightful Dijon.  I adhered the layers using SNAIL adhesive.  The wreath was applied using Stampin’ Up! Dimensionals. Using Cajun Craze I die cut the bow and applied it with a glue dot.  I then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to add some ‘Bling’ to the wreath.

I finished this easy front of card using the Sentiment from Flourishing Phrases Stamp set,  stamped in Cajun Craze.

The inside is completed by layering Delightful Dijon and Whisper White Card Stock.  Finishing the inside by die cutting two bows, one from Delightful Dijon and the second from Cajun Craze.  Layering the bows using glue dots adhere to the Whisper White layer.  All done and kind of  ‘Fallish’ for sure.
