Isn’t this too cute? I got the idea from Jen Evers and her very easy to follow directions and cuts are in her You Tube video! I just love this mummy popping out behind the haunted house.
The Popup holder is Pumpkin Pie layered with a piece of Halloween Night DSp. The tree, bats and fence are die cuts in Basic Black Card Stock using the Halloween Scenes Edgelits dies. The witch on her broom is from the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on Pumpkin Pie Card Stock and die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits.
The Haunted House is from the Halloween Scares Stamp Set stamped in Tuxedo Black on Basic Gray Card Stock. I then die cut it by using a Layering Circle Framelit that give it a kind of frame. The fence was adhered to the bottom of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then used the smallest circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits and die cut a ‘notch’ at the top to be able to grasp the inside card and pull it up easily. (Also to hint there was a popup)!
The mummy rises from behind the haunted house on a super easy mechanism. This card is almost quick and easy! Using Basic Gray Ink on Whisper White Card Stock I first stamped the gauze pattern from the Ghoulish Gunge Stamp Set. I then stamped the cute little mummy from the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set and punched it out with the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I then smudged the mummy using Basic Gray Ink and Sponge Dauber.
The inset popup is Whisper White Card Stock layered on Basic Black Card Stock using SNAIL adhesive. The bat and cat were stamped in Tuxedo Black and are from Halloween Scares and Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Sets. The gravestones were stamped in Basic Gray Ink using the image from Spooky Fun Stamp Set. The pull tab is four pieces of Black Solid Bakers Twine pulled through and an additional piece used to tie all the strands together making a kind of tassel.
