This has been my month for frustration with computers! Or I guess I should say software to some degree. My pictures just aren’t turning out the way I want them too. Right now they are too small and blurry, and I have taken tons of practice photos with my camera settings changing for each one and keeping up with them, play with them in Photoshop, then I get them pretty, my signature is blurred! tried everything and now I have great picture but when I make them bigger on my blog post they are blurred again! Have not posted any cards, I have them made but I want them to be pretty and BIG! and not blurred with a clear signature. Oh, my-some one told me it was because Venus was in retrograde and a Harvest moon on top of it. What er the excuse I am over it!! (now is this was only my photos I was having problems with I think I would not be so frustrated. But my work computer is a field computer that I have to replicate frequently with the office mainframe and for one week IT has not been happening. Two trips to the office to get my work computer fixed and it still won’t pull in my inner office emails!!)
So, here is my posting, I know my picture is too small but will keep working on resolution, pixels, size, etc. Also to my eye it is too dark. Tried to lighten it in Photoshop-a work in progress.
Swirly Bird is such a versatile stamp set! Love how it blends with just about every kind of theme. I have seen pumpkins, snow men, santas and trees made out of the die cuts. The matching stamps are so much fun to play with. Here I have used Rich Razzelberry, Whisper White, Dapper Denim and Basic Gray to make a masculine Thank you Card. I love how it all came together. This was a CASE from Pinterest and I was unable to find the original artist.
The basic card is Dapper Denim Card Stock with all Stamping Ink in Dapper Denim. I layered the Basic Gray Card Stock then Whisper White adhering all layers using SNAIL adhesive. I stamped the ink spatters using the perfect stamp from the Swirly Bird Stamp Set. I then added two small strips horizontally of Rich Razzelberry and Dapper Denim Card Stock.
Next I die cut several sizes of the swirly forms from Swirly Scribbles Thinlets in Rich Razzelberry, Dapper Denim ad Basic Gray Card Stock. Playing with them to get the right look I then stamped Thank you from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set on Whisper White. Cut it out using the appropriate size Layering Circles Framelits die. I then die cut the next up size of Layering Circles in Rich Razzelberry Card Stock. I adhered the Sentiment to the Rich Razzelberry layer with SNAIL. I then positioned all the circles in a pleasing form and glued the swirly die cuts using Multipurpose Glue. Adhered the Sentiment unit using Stamping Dimensionals. I then added the Dapper Denim In Color Enamel Shapes in the largest dots.
The inside is Whisper White Card Stock on the inside back. The Swirly Circles are stamped using Rich Razzelberry and Dapper Denim to complete this fairly quick card. It would be easy to reproduce once the front is designed to your liking.
Here are the products I used in this card:
