#WCMD 2016-Atlanta was held the day before Stampin’ Up!’s Onstage. And a fun day it was! Pam and Bryan you outdid yourselves in planning and pulling off this great day of stamping! Loved every minute of it. We were to bring a 3D project that we had made with Stampin’ Up! products. I had seen this project several years ago and had wanted to CASE it ever since. The hardest part of this project was finding affordable tin cases. Once I had them in my hands I was able to visualize how I wanted to decorate them.
I did use Tear and Tape Adhesive in adhering the cover to make sure it was secure during use. The base is Blusing Bride Card Stock cut to fit with rounded corners using the Project Life Corner Rounder Punch. The patterned paper is Blushing Bride pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. The die cut is from the Flourish Thinlits Die Set in Whisper White Card Stock. The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White Card Stock in Blushing Bride Ink using the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. The sentiment was then die cut using an appropriate size die from the Layering Ovals Framelits set. The frame was also die cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits set using a slightly large scalloped oval and die cut from Blushing Bride Card Stock. The floral spray was adhered using Multipurpose Glue.
The inside is finished by using Pink Pirouette Card Stock and stamping the image in Blushing Bride Ink using the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. The calendar was adhered using Tear and Tape Adhesive.
The lower side was finished again using a piece of patterned paper from the Subles Designer Series Paper Stack in Blushing Bride. The note book was covered in Pink Pirouette Card Stock cut to fit the cover and adhered using the Tear and Tape Adhesive. The flower is die cut is from the Flourish Thinlets Die set. The small mechanical pencil was found on Amazon!
This was wrapped in pink tissue and placed in a white bag that I had stamped the same flower image from the Floursing Phrases Stamp Set in Stazon Jet Black Ink. I then colored in the flowers and leaves using Blushing Bride Ink and Mint Macaron Ink.
The tag was die cut from the Cheerful Tags Framelits Die Cuts (Christmas Catalog) using patterned paper in Blushing Bride from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. The sentiment inside was stamped in Blushing Bride Ink on Whisper White paper and it is Celebrate! Stamp from the Here’s to Cheers Stamp Set. The sentiment on the front of the tag was stamped in Blushing Bride and is from the Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set! Carefully curving the photopolymer Stamps to fit the curve of the tag. I added some bling by placing three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front. The tag has a hole punched in the top when you die cut making it very easy to adhere to the handle using any of the twines. I used the Candy Cane Lane White with red Metalic to attach the tag to the bag. I ended by using a short piece of Blushing Bride 3/8″ stitched Ribbon just tied in a knot.
Here are the supplies that I used:
