Celebrate Valentine’s Day-Real Red Card Stock with unique design

Hello from Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Here to visit my oldest son who is working in Steamboat for the season.  My other two sons (I have four and one daughter) came here to join us for the week.  They came from Atlanta and Houston.  This has been one of the best weeks of my life!  Spending time with my boys all grown up!  A real treat.  They are enjoying being together as well.  This picture is at the college in Steamboat, lovely lunch open to public and view is breathtaking.

This was cased but cannot find the original card.  I have altered it a bit and I don’t think it was a Valentine Card.  I really enjoy making nontraditional design cards.  This one took some measuring, a tip, instead of using card stock to try my design dimensions and placement, I use scrap typing paper.

This card is hard to describe.  And since I am not at home when I posting this I forgot to bring the dimensions.  As I said I used typing paper to work it out before I cut the card stock.

Real Red and Whisper White Card Stock.  Real Red Ink, Paper is Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack.  The doily is Whisper White (Very Vanilla on the other side) and cut in half. (Occasions Catalog). The Sentiment is from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set.  Brights-Enamel Shapes are the hearts on the front.

Here it is open with Whisper White Card Stock inside, the pretty design is also from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set in Real Red Ink.  When I determined the size of the front of the card I started with a regular size card and just cut to the point I wanted my flap to be and used the crease as a guide.

Here are the products I used in this card.
