The colors in this Carried Away Designer Series Paper are so bright and cheerful! Combined they make me want to smile. However, this Designer Series Paper is going to be Carried Away on April 1. You have just one more day to order and get this bright paper free!!! (order of $50 or more).
The card base is Peekaboo Peach Card Stock and layered with Watermelon Wonder Card Stock and a layer of Carried Away DSP. The Sentiment is Stylized Birthday Stamp (only in rubber/wood block) and stamped in Watermelon Wonder on Whisper White Card Stock. The Sentiment was heat embossed by using Stampin’ Clear Embossing Powder over the Watermelon Wonder Ink.
The Sentiment was then die cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered with a piece of Carried Away DSP die cut using next larger die in Layering Squares Framelits. The next frame is die cut from the next larger die in Layering Squares Framelits and all layers adhered together using SNAIL adhesive. This panel was then adhered to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it some height.
The hot air balloons are from the Lift Me Up Stamp Set stamped in Archival Black Ink, on Carried Away DSP and die cut using the matching dies from the Lift Me Up Bundle. These were adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
This angle shows the dimensional effect a little bit better.
The inside was finished by stamping the smaller balloons in Watermelon Wonder on Whisper White Card Stock. The clouds are also from that Stamp Set and are stamped in Smoky Slate. The sentiment is from the Lift Me Up Stamp Set and stamped in Watermelon Wonder.

Here is a quick and easy Thank You card for that occasion when you really want to express your delight in something someone has given you or done for you. Lots of room inside to write your gracious Thank You Note.
Card base is Melon Mambo Card Stock with front panel of Basic Black Card Stock and Pop of Pink Speciality DSP. Before adhereing this panel wrap a length of Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the panel lengthwise and tie in a bow.
The sentiment circle panel is three layers of Basic Black, Pop of Pink Speciality DSP and Whisper White. The sentiment from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set was stamped in Melon Mambo on Whisper White Card Stock. The sentiment was then die cut using the Circle Die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. The other two layers were cut in graduating sizes from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. This Circle Panel was adhered to the lower right front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish off the front I added two Heart Embellishments in Melon Mambo from the Brights Enameled Shapes.
The inside was finished using Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape across the upper right and lower left corner on the Whisper White Card Stock.

Don’t you just love the Falling IN Love Designer Series Paper? It is so soft looking, and has so many possibilities. I was casting about for a lovely Thank You card and found this pretty rising hearts paper. So… I combined it with Blushing Bride Card Stock and Very Vanilla Card Stock for the base and for the Sentiment and the inside back page.
This was a quick and easy, and oh so pretty card. The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set stamped in Blushing Bride. Die cut ovals from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals Framelit sets. The lace is Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim and the ribbon is Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon. The embellishment is Falling In Love Embellishments and was adhered using several Glue Dots. The Very Vanilla Ribbon and the Embellishment are both from the Occasions Catalog. As is the DSP. Finishing the from I added two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to match the Embellishment.
The inside was finished by layering Blusing Bride Card Stock with Very Vanilla Card Stock. Using one of the Lace Doilies and a Sponge Dauber I held it in place with one hand and ‘smudged” Blushing Bride Ink with the other! Quite a feat but so worth the extra effort.

There is a story behind this card! I was supposed to create a tutorial to be added to next months Amy’s Stampin’ Krew tutorials and Oh So Succulent is the theme. We’ll, I had great ideas, and as they evolved they became more and more involved and when I completed this card I realized-Oh dear! It would take three pages of instructions to describe how to make this card step by step! So I did another card and it will be my tutorial. This is my card for today!
For this card I chose Calypso Coral Card Stock for the Card Base, and layered it with Old Olive Card Stock. Next I layered a piece of Whisper White Card Stock on top of the Old Olive. Next I took a 2 X 3 3/4″ Calypso Coral and layered with a 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ Old Olive. Then added a 1 1/2″ layer of Succulent Garden DSP onto of that.
The Basket behind the flowers in the bigger circle is from the carryover Holiday Stamp set Basket of Wishes Stamped in Early Espresso and colored in using the Blender Pen and Early Espresso Ink on Whisper White Card Stock. Die cut using Layering Circles Dies. Graduating circle dies were used to die cut the Calypso Coral and the Old Olive background circles. The Whisper White Circle was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise it a bit above the Old Olive.
The flowers were all stamped on Whisper White Card Stock using Sweet Sugar Plum, Calypso Coral and Old Olive and colored in using a Blender pen with the same inks. They were then die cut using the matching Succulent Framelits Dies. These die cut flowers and stems were then adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue once I had carefully arranged them in a pleasing fashion.
The lower right ovals used the basic colors as above and die cut from the same size Layering Ovals Framelits. The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive on Whisper White from the stamp set Basket of Wishes.
The little enamel dots are in Calypso Coral.
The inside was layered like the front, the sentiment is stamped in Old Olive using the Stylized Birthday Stamp. The flowers are die cut from the Oh So Succulent flowers, stamped in Calypso Coral and colored in using a Blender Pen. Adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Easter has always been special to me. When I was a child it meant that my mother would begin planning and sewing my Easter Dress soon after Valentines day. My mom was a seamstress and for many years had a custom made Bridal Gown Shop in Fort Myers. My dresses were always elegant and beautiful. When I had my own children I learned to smock so that I could make those beautiful dresses for my little girl as well. Then came grandchildren, yes, I make all of them smoked dresses and the boys had little smocked shirts and shortalls. My pleating machine is put away, I use all my creative ‘juices’ for card making. Now that I have great grands I might just have to pull it out again.
When I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it, but what kind of background should it have. This background is from the Serene Scenery Designers Series Paper Stack. I think it is supposed to be water, stormy sea but I felt it also depicted stormy sky. The colors in this are easily translated to the card, Island Indigo and Pool Party. I stamped the Palm branch using Soft Suede and smudged it using a 1/4 of a sponge in Wild Wasabi and Old Olive. It was fussy cut and trimmed to fit under the cross. The cross and drape was stamped in Soft Suede and heat embossed using Clear Embossing powder. Then colored in using the Blender Pen and Soft Suede and Tip Top Taupe Ink Pads. The drape was also colored in using the Blender Pen and Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder Ink Pads.
The sentiment is from the Easter Message Stamp Set and stamped in Soft Suede on Whisper White Card Stock. Cut out with an oval from Layering Ovals Framelits and adhered to an oval just one size up. The two layers are adhered to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inside of the card was completed by making a masking layer using Pool Party and Island Indigo. The Sentiment and the Lily are stamps from the Easter Message Stamp Set and stamped in Soft Suede. The lily was colored in using blender pen and Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi.

Bunnies just spell spring and Easter. I love this little Basket Bunch Bunny with his tiny Easter Basket already to hunt Easter Eggs!
The Baker’s Box Thinlets is perfect for a little Easter Treat holder. Using Very Vanilla Card Stock I die cut the Baker’s Box while also die cutting the window using a die from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I cut a small piece of Window Sheet to fit the window I Snailed it by the very edges over the window opening on the inside of the box. Then I put the box together using Fast Fuse so that the seams were nice and strong. I then cut a piece of Cupcakes And Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack 2″ wide (2 pieces of 6″ DSP). Then carefully marking a spot in the middle of one strip of DSP and using the next size up Scalloped Circles (also from the Layering Circles Framelits) I die cut the frame for the window.
Using Snail Adhesive I attached the paper to the front of the box centering the window with the window in the box and wrapped the DSP around the sides of the box. Next I Snailed the second piece of DSP and cut to fit the two ends so that the DSP goes around the entire box.
Using the bunnies and egg dies I stamped them using Basic Black Ink in Whisper White Card Stock. I then die cut them using the matching dies from the Basket Builder Framelits set (until March 31 you can get them as a bundle and save 10%!). I die cut multiple pieces to fit on all three sides. I stamped the basket in Flirty Flamingo. The grass is Cucumber Crush Card Stock. I colored in the eggs using Emerald Env, Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach with the Stampin Write Markers. The Bunny on the sides was die cut from Peek a boo Peach Card Stock, the Daffodil from Daffodil Delight card Stock.
I adhered the bunny on the front using Stamping Dimensionls to give him a little definition.
The top was finished by threading Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon and Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim and tying in a bow. The Sentiment is from Circle of Spring Stamp Set (Annual Catalog), tags were then die cut using two graduating sizes from the Tags and Labels Framelits Dies. Using the 1/2″ circle punch I punched out a hole at the top of the tags. Using Cucumber Crush Thick Green Bakers Twine I attached the tags to the bow. Product List
