My Information

Blogging is a new adventure for me and a deep learning curve!  But I am having so much fun exploring WordPress and setting up this site.

The North Georgia Mountains are my home, clean air, fresh breezes and very little traffic.  Atlanta is just a short one hour away if the notion should ever hit to visit the  big city.

I am a mother of 5, grandmother of 14 and a great-grandmother of 5. Over the years I have developed a love of paper.  Any kind of paper, any project that includes paper, and yes, I have explored making paper.  I began playing with stamping in the mid 90’s, discovered ©Stampin’ Up! about 2000 and fell in love with all their products.  I am a ©Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator making cards and projects that are a bit more eclectic.  I do have fun making clean and simple cards, but especially enjoy the challenge of making a bit more difficult card.  I also enjoy making themed projects with ©Stampin’ Up! products such as matching invitations, party decorations and thank you cards.

At the present time I am semi-retired.   I am an RN and work as a weekend supervisor at a long term care facility.  My husband and I (we have been married 54 years), love to travel and explore new places.  My dream is to take a canal cruise in Europe.  I have already attained one dream-to work on a cruise ship. for several years I contracted to teach crafts on 8 day cruises.  One year I logged 72 days on a cruise ship.  I don’t think I will ever get tired of cruising.  Grandchildren are my love, I plan trips and adventures with my younger grands.  Just recently took three grands to Chattanooga for three days of sight seeing.  I highly recommend Ruby Falls and the Duck Boats for sure!

My other hobbies include knitting, sewing, crochet, book making, journal making and writing.  I have dabbled in basket making, Zentangle drawing and quilting.

My purpose of  this blog is to  introduce others to this fun hobby of stamping using ©Stampin’ Up! products.  I also  plan to open an Etsy store to sell my cards and projects.  I plan to also include tutorials and videos.

As I get more acquainted with blogging I will endeavor to post three days a week  with a goal of someday posting daily.  I do hope you will choose to follow me.  I will try to present some new and easy projects and cards.  Thank you for choosing to read my blog.  Please consider ordering supplies from me if you do not already have a demonstrator that you order from.  I promise to help you in any way that I can.

Best wishes and Happy Carding!    Beth
