Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze Whole Lot of Lovely Thank You Card

There’s just something about Cajun Craze and Basic Black that makes one think of Fall.  I love this design and the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP set off this Thank You Card.  Pretty quick and easy, I do admit lots of cutting but easy to assemble.  The sentiment is triple layered using the Scalloped Squares Framelits. Just in time for this card is the lovely Black Dimesionals featured on the Sentiment that is from One Big Meaning Stamp Set.  The Sentiment was raised a bit by using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card front.

The inside was finished by stamping the flowers  in Cajun Craze and Wild Wasabi from the Lots of Love Stamp Set.

Here are the supplies I used in this card:

Card Stock: Cajun Craze, Basic Black, Whisper White

Stamp Sets: Lots of  Love, One Big Meaning

Dies: Layered Scalloped Square Framelits

Ink:  Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Cajun Craze

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics Flower Thank You Card

Today I have a Quick and Simple Card to show you.  I needed a card quickly.

Here’s my card-hope you like it!  I cased it from someone but can’t find the original card.  This card uses a simple technique.  The Thank You  was stamped on a piece of  Post It Note so that it had ‘sticky’ under it.  Then trimmed closely.  Stamped the Thank You where I wanted it and then covered it exactly with the post it note.  Stamped the flower on to of it.  After stamping the flower (make sure the sentiment is good and dry),  heat emboss with Clear Stampin’ Emboss  Powder.  Then color in the flower and leaves using the Stampin’ Write Markers.

I choose Basic Black Cardstock as the base,  Peekaboo Peach as the accent card Stock.  Here are a list of the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in making this card.

Cardstock:  Basic Black Cardstock, Peekaboo Peach

Designer Series Paper: Whole Lot Of Lovely

Stamps used: Butterfly Basics, Flourishing Phrases

Inks:  Basic Black, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive

Stampin’ Write Markers:  Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive

Enamel Shapes: Pear Pizazz

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tags in cheerful Daffodil Delight Thank You Card.

Spring has sprung here in North Georgia.  Just a week ago I was busily covering my Hosta’s pushing up from the ground to prevent freezing damage-temp expected was 22!  The early, tender leaves were slightly bitten but too bad.  So I thought this pretty “Springy” looking card would be a nice Thank You Card while the weather is warming up (and the pollen is falling)!

The card base here is Daffodil Delight layered with Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper in different Shade of Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.  I rounded all the corners to give the card a bit more Pizzazz.  The Flower was first die cut using the Flower die in Timeless Tags Thinlits dies out of Daffodil Delight.  The using this as a blank frame I glued it to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   Using the same die again I die cut the center of the flower using Early Espresso Card Stock.  Carefully fitting the center into the frame I glued it using the Multipurpose Glue.

The inside of the flower was die cut from Crushed Curry card Stock and Wild Wasabi Card Stock.  These pieces were then matched to their puzzle and glued in place.  This layer was then adhered to a Daffodil Delight Layer and adhered to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensions.

The bow is Whisper White and made using the 5/8″ Organza Ribbon, adhered to the front of the card using several Glue Dots.  The Sentiment is from the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and stamped in Daffodil Delight Ink on Whisper White Card Stock. The Sentiment was then die cut from Layering Ovals Framelits.   It was framed by using the next large size and die cutting it from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  These two layers were adhered together using SNAIL Adhesive and all were adhered to the lower right front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Here is a picture showing the dimensional designs of the front.

The inside of the card was layered with Whisper White Card Stock.  Before Layering I punched out the butterfly decoration from the Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies on the lower right hand side.  I carefully cut a small piece of DSP and layered it just under the die cuts and all were adhered tot he inside back by using SNAIL adhesive.

Stampin’ Up! Quick and easy Thank You Card in Melon Mambo

Here is a quick and easy Thank You  card for that occasion when you really want to express your delight in something someone has given you or done for you.   Lots of room inside to write your gracious Thank You Note.

Card base is Melon Mambo Card Stock with front panel of Basic Black Card Stock and Pop of Pink Speciality DSP.  Before adhereing this panel wrap a length of Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the panel lengthwise and tie in a bow.

The sentiment circle panel is three layers of Basic Black, Pop of Pink Speciality DSP and Whisper White.  The sentiment from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set was stamped in Melon Mambo on Whisper White Card Stock.  The sentiment was then die cut using the Circle Die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies.    The other two layers were cut in graduating sizes from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. This Circle Panel was adhered to the lower right front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off the front I added two Heart Embellishments in Melon Mambo from the Brights Enameled Shapes.

The inside was finished using Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape across the upper right  and lower left corner on the Whisper White Card Stock.

Stampin’ Up! One Big Meaning Feminine Thank You Card

Don’t you just love the Falling IN Love Designer Series Paper?  It is so soft looking, and has so many possibilities.  I was casting about for a lovely Thank You card and found this pretty rising hearts paper.  So… I combined it with Blushing Bride Card Stock  and Very Vanilla Card Stock  for the base and for the Sentiment and the inside back page.

This was a quick and easy, and oh so pretty card.  The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set stamped in Blushing Bride.  Die cut ovals from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals Framelit sets.  The lace is Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim and the ribbon is Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon.  The embellishment is  Falling In Love Embellishments and was adhered using several Glue Dots.  The Very Vanilla Ribbon and the Embellishment are both from the Occasions Catalog.  As is the DSP.  Finishing the from I added two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to match the Embellishment.

The inside was finished by layering Blusing Bride Card Stock with Very Vanilla Card Stock.  Using one of the Lace Doilies and a Sponge Dauber I held it in place with one hand and ‘smudged” Blushing Bride Ink with the other!  Quite a feat but so worth the extra effort.

Cupcakes and Carousels DSP Thank you card

Happy Saturday!  Hope you have something fun planned for this weekend, or even better yet relax and just enjoy!

This card is a bright Thank You Card pulling its colors from the Cupcakes and Carousels Designers Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog.  The basic colors are Bermuda Bay and So Saffron.  The base card is Bermuda Bay Card Stock with a layer of So Saffron Card Stock layer.  Next a piece of Cupcakes and Carousels DSP is adhered.

The pretty flower is from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set stamped in Black Stazon Ink and set with a heat gun on Very Vanilla Card Stock.    Next I used the Aquapainter to fill in the flowers and the greenery using  So Saffron Ink Pad and Wild Wasabi.  When dry I die cut it out using Layering Oval Dies.  I laid the Layered Ovals dies with the Stitched Ovals dies and choose three sizes.

First I I cut the Very Vanilla with the flower in the Medium size die.  Next I used the Stitched Framelits Oval  in the same size and die cut it in Bermuda Bay Card Stock.  Then I used the next smaller size Oval to die cut the middle of the Bermuda Bay making a frame for the flowers.  Carefully lining up the Bermuda Bay and the Very Vanilla I glued them together.  Next I die cut the back ground oval using the next bigger size in So Saffron.

I adhered the So Saffron Oval to the top of the card with Snail Adhesive.  I then adhered the assembled flower picture with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the So Saffron Oval.

The sentiment at the bottom is from the Basket For You Host Set (Free!! with 150$ order). Stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock.  It was then die cut in Bermuda Bay and So Saffron Card Stock using the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  All were adhered together with a shadow effect and adhered to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The front of the card was finished by adding some So Saffron Enamel Dots to the top and each side of the Sentiment Banner.

The inside was finished by layering So Saffron and Very Vanilla Card Stock then using scraps of the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP, So Saffron and Bermuda Bay to the upper right corner.

Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Peach Lift Me Up Thank You Card

So it’s Saturday in the North Georgia Mountains!  Last Saturday it was 7 degrees and 3″ of new snow on the ground.  Today it will reach 70 (or a bit higher) and the sun is shining!  We still had snow on the ground as late as last Wednesday.  During the snow storm I pictured this happy card and began to pull supplies to put it together.  I have to admit that I used the Mojo Design Challenge for my basic card design.

Peekaboo Peach is one of those colors that just say “happy”!  The new Occasions Catalog has this really cute Stamp Set : Lift Me Up with a matching Up and Away Thinlits Die Set.

For this card base I used Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Peach Card stock with the lower half of the front is Designer Series Paper ” Carried Away” from the Sale-A-Bration  Catalog. Free!! Yes I said free, for each $50 that you spend between now and March 31 you may choose an item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  Free is always Fun!img_5809_edited-1

Watermelon Wonder Card Stock was then cut in a short piece, corners rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder and stamped using Watermelon Wonder Ink and the smaller air balloon stamp.  This was adhered to the left 1/3 of the front.

The round design is made by die cutting a large circle out of Peekaboo Peach Card Stock,  then next smaller die cut circle from the Carried Away DSP.  The circles are from the Layering Circles Framelits Set.

The Square design was completed by die cutting a larger scalloped square from Watermelon Wonder Card Stock.  The next size smaller scalloped square die was used to cut Whisper White Card Stock after the Sentiment was stamped in Watermelon Wonder.  The scalloped dies are from the Layered Squares Framelits set.

The little Watermelon Wonder Dots that embellish the Thank You sign are from the 2016-2018  Color Enamel Shapes.

The little clouds floating in air are Whisper White, cloud is stamped in Smoky Slate and die cut. The clouds were adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.img_5812_edited-1

The inside was completed by layering Watermelon Wonder with Whisper White Card Stock. The balloons were stamped in Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder Ink.  The clouds are stamped in Smoky Slate.

All layers were adhered by using SNAIL adhesive.
